The Bible Presentation is an important milestone in the life of a child and a special opportunity to celebrate God’s Word and a child’s growing faith. As we seek to return with Jesus to the goodness of the Garden, we want children to know God’s story, discover who He created them to be, and learn to live in His presence. Giving children their own Bible is a meaningful way to encourage them to know, love, and follow God’s Word. We are excited to celebrate this meaningful moment in a child’s faith journey and invite our church family to join us in celebrating these children. Together, we can encourage them to see the Bible as God’s Word that will guide them as they grow and pray that they will continue to grow deeply rooted in Scripture and their relationship with God.
As part of our Bible Out Loud celebration, we are excited to take time during our church-wide lunch on January th to present Bibles to our 2nd graders, as well as any 3rd–5th graders who have not yet received one from the church.
This is a special moment for our children and our congregation as we place God’s Word into their hands, celebrating their growing faith and the beginning of a lifelong journey with Scripture. We invite everyone to join us in prayer and encouragement for these young readers as they continue to learn, love, and live by the Word of God.
