The Ark of the Covenant in Its Egyptian Context
Join us for a special weekend with Egyptologist Dr. David A. Falk on Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18.
Dr. Falk is the author of The Ark of the Covenant in Its Egyptian Context: An Illustrated Journey. Drawing upon his study of more than 400 examples of ancient Egyptian ritual furniture, he will explore how the culture and visual language of Egypt help illuminate the Ark’s construction, symbolism, and sacred purpose.
Dr. Falk holds a Ph.D. in Egyptology from the University of Liverpool and is a research associate at the Vancouver School of Theology. His engaging work brings together biblical studies, archaeology, and ancient history to offer a fascinating perspective on one of Scripture’s most significant sacred objects.
