At First Methodist Midland, we believe the Word of God is meant to be heard, spoken, and lived. Bible Out Loud is one of the ways our church gathers around that truth each year. Members of our church family sign up for 20-minute time slots to read the entire Bible aloud from beginning to end. Together, we proclaim every chapter and every verse, reminding ourselves that God’s Word continues to shape, strengthen, and transform His people.
More than an annual event, Bible Out Loud is a reflection of who we are. It serves as a rallying point for our church and a lasting reminder that our faith is built on the enduring foundation of Scripture. Whether you join us by reading, listening, or praying for those participating, you become part of a church-wide commitment to place God’s Word at the center of our lives. As Isaiah 40:8 reminds us, “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of our God endures forever.”
