If we are to be leaders of the peoples of Midland, Texas or the World, we must become aware of the core beliefs, ethical principles, rituals, and sacred texts of each religion. We can then recognize the historical and cultural contexts of each religion, including founders, key figures, and major developments. Lastly, we will compare and contrast these religions, not to be critical of any religion, but to better understand the uniqueness of each. Jesus wants followers who lead, not force people to follow Him to the Garden… are we ready to talk and lead others in a manner that they will believe and accept?
