Children’s Ministry serves infants -5th grade.

On Sundays, kids get to experience God’s word in a creative, engaging, and relational environment.

Infants – Two’s

Childcare is available in the ARK Nursery from 8:30 a.m. – 12p.m.

3’s – 5’s (not yet in kindergarten)

Promiseland children’s worship in the ARK during the 9 a.m. & 11 a.m. worship services
Sunday School from 10 a.m. – 10:45a.m. in the ARK

Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Sunday School from 10 a.m. – 10:45a.m. upstairs in The Garden
Kids Church at 11 a.m. in the worship area upstairs in The Garden

*There is no Kids Church on Family Worship Sunday (first Sunday of each month). Families are encouraged to worship together in one of our three worship services. Childcare is still available for infants – 5 years (not yet in kindergarten)

Ark Nursery

ARK Nursery childcare is available on Sundays for infants – 5 years during the 9 a.m. & 11 a.m. worship services and for infants – 2 years during the 10 a.m. Sunday School hour (3 – 5 year olds, have Sunday School in the ARK).

Shine Ministry

At First Methodist Midland, we believe God created us to AVAD (serve) and SHAMAR (protect and care for) His creation while living in His presence. A special needs ministry is a natural expression of this calling. By intentionally welcoming and supporting individuals with disabilities and their families, we reflect the love and character of Jesus, remove barriers to belonging, and help every person participate fully in the life of the church. A special needs ministry is a way we live out our vision of Returning with Jesus to the goodness of the Garden, serving others, protecting the dignity of every person made in God’s image, and helping our church more fully reflect the Kingdom of God.
