Wednesday Night Live! Returns With A New Schedule

The Fall 2017 season of Wednesday Night Live! will begin on August 30 with a revised schedule. Each week will include a great meal from Chef Angelo and his staff and programs for all ages. Plan to make Wednesday evenings at First Methodist a regular part of your schedule!
  • 5:00 pm           Child care for ages six weeks to pre-Kindergarten will be available.
  • 5:15 pm           Brief, 30-minute evening service of scripture, quiet reflection, and communion in the Chapel.
  • 5:30 pm           Dining begins in the Atrium (Please note that food service begins at 5:30. Diners arriving early are encouraged to attend the evening service in the Chapel or they may wait in the History Alcove and Main Street Café. Food service will continue until 6:30 pm.
  • 6:15 pm           Expanded program for children begins. This will include Bible study, Music and More, and exciting games and activities. Parents should pick their children up at 7:30. Youth activities will begin at 6:30 in the Basement and will conclude by 7:30.
  • 6:30 pm           Adult Bible Study begins in the Worship Center and concludes at 7:15. Pastors Steve Brooks and Kurt Borden will together lead a study of the book of Matthew.
  • 7:15 pm           Choir practice begins promptly at 7:15

Some weeks will also include special events during the dinner hour. Every week will be filled with opportunities to meet old friends, make new acquaintances, invite guests, have fun, and grow spiritually together.

Slugs & Bugs Live! Family Christmas concert
Wednesday, December 6th
6:15 – 7:15 p.m.
Worship Center
Slugs & Bugs is a one-hour multimedia concert with live stage performance designed specifically for children ages 10 and under and accompanying adults! This entertaining, engaging, and high quality concert by Randall Goodgame teaches Bible memorization through catchy songs, and entertains all ages through silly, creative songs.
Tickets are $5 per person with a $20 family max.
