This life-changing program teaches participants everything they need to know about dumping debt, building wealth, and changing their family tree. In the two-hour class each week, using Dave's Biblically-based, video-driven small group study, class members will be empowered with the practical skills and confidence needed to achieve financial goals and experience true financial peace! Scholarships are available for single mothers. Please request child care in advance.

This study of James, the brother of Jesus, and the book of James provides a deep understanding of both James the man and the rich topics within the book of James. Class members will not just learn and seek to apply the wisdom of James to their lives, they will do what Scripture says; they will actively love their neighbors as themselves as they work to put faith into action. Raising Self-Reliant Children in a Self-Indulgent World

This powerful program from Developing Capable Young People helps adults work with children and youth to develop the three perceptions and four skills which determine how effectively they will deal with life. This fast-paced interactive class equips parents, grandparents, child-care providers or anyone who works with children or youth with new insights and skills.

Participants will learn more about what all of the dials and buttons on a digital camera are for and the occasions to use each of them, along with a little field work. Participants will need to provide their own digital cameras.

Hard Questions: Serious Answers
February 8—March 21
6:30-7:30 p.m. Room 218 with Macky Pitts
What about evangelism, the nature of the resurrection, or evil? This class will examine five difficult issues such as these. Each class includes discussion of a video segment in which a leading theologian considers the question of the week. The class includes a participant guide to help class members extend and deepen their understanding of these hard questions.

The Next Christians
February 8—March 28
6:30-7:30 p.m. Rooms 229-230 with Jim Collett
This class is a study based upon the book The Next Christians by author Gabe Lyons. Class members will examine the ideas in this challenging work that points out problems with contemporary Christian America and proposes a new type of "restorer" Christian. The ideas--fascinating, disturbing, thought-provoking, perhaps even soul-searching--presented in this book will fuel class discussion.

Visual Parables: Faith and Film
April 18--May 9
6:30-7:30 p.m. Room 220 with Jim Collett
Each week, this class will examine a different movie (available on DVD) through the lens of faith. Excerpts from the film will be used to explore key biblical themes such as forgiveness, faith and repentance as they are illustrated in these modern-day parables. Each class will include time for discussion.
