Can you help with Trunk or Treat?

We need all of our church family to help make this a fun celebration! Could you help by –

Decorating a trunk
There are endless possibilities for decorating a trunk or canopy in a fun way! You are welcome to dress in costume too, which adds to the fun!

Candy will be provided, you just supply the decorated trunk or canopy – in place in the parking lot at 5:30 PM to be ready to go at 6 PM. Prizes will be awarded in various categories for best trunks/canopies. We need 20+ cars/canopies!

Donating candy or money for candy
We need A LOT of candy, so any donations are greatly appreciated! You can place your candy donations in the baskets located in the church office reception area each Sunday in October or make a monetary donation for the purchase of candy by marking your donation “Trunk or Treat Candy” in the offering.

Running a cotton candy machine
Yes, it will be sticky, but you will bring a lot of smiles! All supplies are provided. You would just be in place at 5:45 to run the machine from 6-7:30 (or ask some friends to help and work together or each take a short shift).

Setting up

Putting in place orange construction fencing (provided) around the parking lot and setting up traffic cones along the perimeter and for safe crossing in the street.

Cleaning up

This is the most important help of all! The more hands, the faster this goes with getting items back inside the church after the event before it gets dark.

As you can see, a lot of help is needed! Any area where you can help would be wonderful!! Please contact Kara Harris,
