A Spiritual Formation Retreat
led by Daniel Harris

Give yourself 24 hours that will leave you renewed, refreshed, more connected with God, and with a greater understanding of how to connect with Him through the Bible.

These biannual spiritual formation retreats are open to anyone who desires the opportunity to set aside time to be with God, to rest, learn, and become better connected with God and others. The experience of retreat – getting away from your normal environment and activities for 24 hours to devote that time to God is life-giving!

Most Christians are very aware that reading the Bible is a good idea, but much of our experience of trying to do so falls short of what we hope it to be. This restful, helpful, and enjoyable retreat focuses on our approaches to reading Scripture as a spiritual practice, giving practical ways of approaching God through the pages of the Bible in order to let it have its intended effect upon us.

The retreat will be held at The Way Retreat Center, located in north Midland off Todd Road, just five miles from First Methodist! It is an incredible facility situated on 300 acres. It has been thoughtfully and impeccably designed in a way that is deeply worshipful and inviting. If you haven’t been there yet, we can’t wait for you to see it!  Click here to see more pictures of The Way.
