For the week of February 6-10

Epiphany 5

Daily Scriptures:

Monday, 2.6.12Philippians 2:4-8

What is supposed to be our way of thinking and acting? Does Christ expect us to be perfect in order to relate to him? Why/not? Where do you need Christ to meet you today? Whom is he calling you to meet where they are?

Tuesday, 2.7.121 Corinthians 2:7-12

How does God reveal his wisdom? What does it mean that the “rulers of this age” don’t understand this? In what areas of your life do you need God’s wisdom?

Wednesday, 2.8.121 John 4:18-21

What does it mean that there is “no fear in love”? Earlier in this chapter, John writes that God is love. What does this mean? Who in your life is difficult to love? What can you do to show that person God’s love?

Thursday, 2.9.12Matthew 16:24-27

What does it mean to take up your cross and follow Jesus? What in your life has still not been “crucified” but needs to be? Where is Jesus leading you? Are you willing to follow?

Friday, 2.10.12Psalm 146

Read this aloud and spend some time praising and thanking God.
