Grace That Grows Retreat
November 9-10, 2018
The Way Retreat Center in Midland

Give yourself 24 hours that will leave you renewed, refreshed, more connected with God, and with a greater understanding of His grace.

These biannual spiritual formation retreats are open to anyone who desires the opportunity to set aside time to be with God, to rest, learn, and become better connected with God and others.

Grace, salvation, and faith are three words that are central to Christian beliefs. They are full of hope, with practical implications for our everyday lives, yet much of our understanding of these terms has been emptied of the original meaning given to them in the Scriptures. This initial retreat in the series of five spiritual formation retreats offered by First United Methodist Church is foundational in expanding your view of these vital terms.

The retreat will be held at The Way Retreat Center, located in north Midland off Todd Road, just five miles from First Methodist! It is an incredible facility situated on 300 acres. It has been thoughtfully and impeccably designed in a way that is deeply worshipful and inviting. If you haven’t been there yet, we can’t wait for you to see it!  Click here to see more pictures of The Way.   Comments from past participants:

  • “I went away with curiosity and desire to study and investigate more about grace, salvation and faith and how they interact in my life.”

Registration is $85 per person and includes lodging, meals, snacks and retreat materials. Each attendee will have a private room and private bathroom.
