God Bless Midland! Fallapalooza

One of the opportunities that surfaced though God Bless Midland!, was to provide thousands of people in our community, with a free meal. After additional planning, church members and Event Coach, Mark Semmelbeck, decided to add entertainment for the entire family to this experience, called Fallapalooza.  

On Saturday, Oct. 15, more than a thousand people from throughout the community came together at the Scharbauer Sports Complex to enjoy free hot dogs, hamburgers and entertainment. Four live bands, Crystal River, Brother Z, CPR (County Pop Rock) and the First United Methodist Church Praise Band, entertained the crowd as they enjoyed their free meal.

Kids of all ages had a blast playing carnival games, riding the train, getting their faces painted and jumping away their energy in the bounce houses.

More than 100 members of First United Methodist Church volunteer their time to make this a memorable event for families from all walks of life.
